Easy Rub Rail Replacement
I replaced the rub rail on my 1995 2020 Action Craft. Came out perfect. You need two people to install. One person tensions / stretches the new rub rail while the other drills holes and puts in the screws. I attached the bow first and then worked back from the bow installing each side. You don't really need to heat it but I did with a hair dryer to get a good fit on the bow and transom. My old metal inserts / backing strips were old and corroded so I could not reuse them. Instead I used extra SS screws with large washers.
